i think the photographer represents youth culture in a bad way with the use of pessemistic pictures. i think in order to give a more accurate insight to youth culture, there needs to be elements of what is good in the community.

I do not agree that these pictures show the complete side of youth culture today. They do show one side of the culture but there are many other. The pictures are sterio typical of the area the people live in, for example the photos of cornwall show just surfing. Underneath this there could also be under age drinking and teenage pregnancies but this is only shown in the London pictures. In the London pictures there could also be teenages doing well in school, college or a job and not just all involved in knife crime.

I don't agree with it, I think there is a small amount of youths in the country that are like the people in the photos, and these are the stereotypes for the rest of the youths in the country.

i think that the photographer shows quite a few different areas of youth culture, from council estates, to universitys to beaches therefore i think he is trying to show that there is a diverse culture when its comes to youth in England. However i think he wanted to show this diversity in its upmost to shock the reader, for example the fact that people from council estates had children at young ages and hung around in gangs is shocking but sterotypical, as with university students playing drinking games it is sterotypical but he tryed to show it in a shocking way with his choice of photos.
